Capacitive sensors are intended to monitor the presence of 7.2-40.5 kV AC three-phase voltage at 50 Hz in systems with an isolated neutral or a neutral grounded through an arc-suppression reactor.
The sensors are intended for indoor installation at ambient temperatures from -25 ℃ to +55 ℃. The room where the sensors are installed must be enclosed, explosion- and fire-safe, and free from aggressive gases and vapors in concentrations that destroy insulation.
Structurally, the sensor is a polymeric post insulator with a built-in voltage divider. The sensor can be used for fastening current-carrying parts (busbars, fuses, etc.) in electrical installations.
