High-voltage fuses for power transformer protection XRNT 12-24 kV

The XRNT series fuses are high-voltage fuses designed to protect electrical equipment in alternating current (AC) networks with voltages from 7.2 to 40.5 kV. They are widely used in industrial and power systems to protect transformers, motors, switchgear, and other equipment against overloads and short circuits.

The fuse housing is made of durable materials (heat-resistant ceramic or epoxy glass). Inside, there is a fuse element made of metal wire with a precisely calculated time-current characteristic, which ensures the selectivity of protection. It is hermetically sealed in a fuse tube filled with chemically treated pure quartz sand, which extinguishes the arc upon operation. There is a striker at the end of the fuse, which, in the event of operation, is ejected with a specified force.
