High-voltage fuses of the XRNP series are designed to protect voltage transformer circuits in 7.2-40.5 kV distribution networks against overload and short circuits.
These fuses are connected in series into the primary (high-voltage) circuit of the voltage transformer, between the switchgear busbar and the primary winding of the VT. The following voltage ratings are available: 7.2, 12, 24, and 40.5 kV. Current ratings: 0.5, 1, 2, 3.15 A.
XRNP1 fuses are installed in JSZY16 voltage transformers and similar ones.
