Indoor DC disconnectors

Application

Indoor DC disconnectors are intended for the operational control of no-load DC circuits. Devices of this type are used in electric transport traction substations and at industrial enterprises. The indoor DC disconnector provides isolation of the bushing from the power source, as well as sectioning or disconnection of various sections of contact networks.

Thanks to its modular design, the indoor DC disconnector allows creating a variety of combinations and options.

Design

Insulators, main busbars, silver-plated contacts, electrically insulating pull rods, and a drive (manual or motor) are mounted on an aluminum platform. The disconnector installed in the switchgear panel creates a visible safe break in the current circuits.

Advantages of the indoor DC disconnector

  • Self-cleaning silver-plated contacts
  • Silver-plated
  • High short-circuit withstand capability
  • Simple modular design
  • High reliability
  • No spare parts required
  • Easy maintenance
  • Large number of possible combinations
  • Compliance with IEC 60947-3 requirements
