Accessories for cable connectors and busbars 7.2-40.5 kV
In this section, useful accessories are presented, used for testing, measurements, earthing, and other operations during the maintenance of solid insulated, gas-insulated, and dry (clean) air-insulated switchgear for 7.2-40.5 kV with cable connectors and busbars.
CTR (Cable Testing Rod)
The CTR is intended for testing the cable without disconnecting it and the connector from the switchgear. For testing, the Cable Connector Insulating Plug of the connector is unscrewed, and the CTR is screwed in its place.

Application example:
IP (Insulating plug for bushing)
The IP is intended for insulating an unused switchgear bushing in the following cases:
- if there is a busbar extension of the switchgear panel / cubicle that is not yet used;
- during switchgear testing using the GIS Testing Rod, solid insulated switchgear. In this case, the bushing of the untested phase is plugged using this plug.

GIS Testing Rod
The GIS Testing Rod is intended for qualification, routine, and acceptance testing of switchgear with elevated power-frequency voltage and lightning impulse testing.
Screwed directly onto the bushing.

Bushing extension
The bushing extension is used in the following cases:
- when it is necessary to install three-phase current transformers of LSY or TSh3 type of sufficient thickness, when the cable connector does not reach the main bushing;
- when it is necessary to distance the connections of the cable connector or busbars from the switchgear.
CCCS3 - double-sided cable connector
The CCCS3 7.2-40.5 kV insulated connector is used to connect devices such as:
- Surge Arresters, designed as a connector plug;
- Voltage measuring transducers of MIR, IPN-05, I-tor, etc. types,
to Interface C bushings according to EN 50181 of solid insulated, gas-insulated, and dry (clean) air-insulated switchgear for 7.2-40.5 kV, providing their reliable sealing, insulation, and electrical connection.

Installation scheme:
CCEP (Cable Connector Earthing Plug)
Used for applying portable earthing to a cable with an installed connector or to a busbar section. Installed in the cable connector instead of the Cable Connector Insulating Plug.
Double-sided bushing 7.2-24 kV
Used for arranging cable assemblies or busbars for the purpose of sectioning, top cable entry directly to the busbar section, or arranging a second row of busbars. It has a low-voltage terminal on the flange with a built-in capacitor for indicating the presence of passing voltage.

Transition bushing 7.2-40.5 kV
It is used as a support and capacitive insulator for a long busbar section. It has a low-voltage terminal on the flange with an embedded capacitor for voltage presence indication.
